I’m originally from New Orleans and have called Nashville home since 2005.

I’ve been a photographer for more than 20 years, and over that time I’ve photographed just about everything — weddings, events, commercial work, environmental portraits and a whole lot of faces.

Eventually I figured out what I enjoyed photographing most.

People.

I’ve always been fascinated by faces and how much personality can come through in a photograph when somebody is actually comfortable in front of the camera.

And the truth is, most people aren’t.

Most of my clients walk in telling me they hate having their picture taken or they’re just not photogenic. That’s completely normal. A big part of what I do is getting you comfortable enough that we can get past all of that.

The lighting and technical stuff matter, obviously. But I think the difference between a decent headshot and a really good one is whether you actually look like yourself.

That’s what I’m after.

Today I photograph individuals and companies throughout Nashville, Brentwood and Middle Tennessee.

Sometimes that’s one person who just needs a great new headshot. Sometimes it’s an entire company that needs 100 people photographed with the same polished, consistent look.

Either way, the goal is pretty simple:

You should look like you — on a really good day.
