My Story

I am originally from New Orleans, and I have been living in Nashville since 2005(result of Hurricane Katrina). I am a husband to my wife Jamie, and father of three, Coby, Gage and Laney Day. I put my hands on my first professional camera about 20 years ago, and have been a wedding photographer for most of that time. A wedding photographer has to be a balance of all photography forms; fashion, photojournalism, portrait, editorial, and I have narrowed down my true passion in the mix and that is portrait work. When I look through the art of photography, I always find myself drawn to the human face. It is the perfect subject, and it tells a familiar story that we can all connect to with no other distractions. The story has to be told through the expressions, the eyes and even wrinkles, it draws me in. The challenges are trying to capture the essence of a person's true character and personality, and that is not so easy when a camera is pointed in their face, trust me. It is my great hope that through my work, I can create images of you that will be timeless and stunning and bring out the very best of who you are.
